WHCO’s Relaxed Family Concerts foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for listeners of all ages and neurotypes, supporting our mission to make classical music performances accessible to all.

Audience members are welcome to enter and exit the concert hall as needed, and the house lights will remain on throughout the performance. We encourage bringing items that enhance your musical experience, such as sensory supports, quiet fidget tools, noise-reducing headphones, or comfort objects.

Our musicians and front-of-house staff receive specialized training in inclusion best practices from WHCO’s Director of Community Engagement, Karen Birch Blundell, ensuring a supportive experience for all attendees.
