Violinista Ashley Windle <\/strong>se uni\u00f3 a la WHCO en 2016 y trabaja como concertino asistente. Cuando estaba en preescolar, un grupo de \u201cTwinklers\u201d Suzuki vino a tocar \u201cTwinkle, Twinkle Little Star\u201d para mi clase. Me enganch\u00e9 de inmediato e insist\u00ed a mi madre durante casi dos a\u00f1os hasta que cedi\u00f3 y me permiti\u00f3 empezar a tomar clases de viol\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1les son sus aficiones fuera de la m\u00fasica?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me encanta la jardiner\u00eda e incluso tengo un peque\u00f1o huerto con mis hijos en el jard\u00edn de la OSE. Un par de veces este verano pude decir: \u201cVamos al jard\u00edn a recoger algunas verduras para nuestra merienda\u201d. Parece casi milagroso poder hacer eso en Nueva York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la pieza que m\u00e1s te gusta tocar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuando necesito un est\u00edmulo (y un descanso de escuchar el repertorio que estoy interpretando), escucho las sonatas para piano de Beethoven, y a veces intento tocarlas al piano (\u00a1mal!). Tambi\u00e9n me encanta el \u00faltimo movimiento de la Sinfon\u00eda n\u00ba 3 de Mahler. Es capaz de cambiar cualquier d\u00eda duro, pero tengo que escucharla con precauci\u00f3n, porque a veces me hace llorar en el metro.

\u00bfCu\u00e1l es su secreto para equilibrar el trabajo duro y la disciplina manteniendo viva su pasi\u00f3n?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para m\u00ed, el trabajo duro y la disciplina SON lo que me apasiona. Veo la pr\u00e1ctica como mi principal trabajo y el rendimiento como mi recompensa. Me encanta practicar. (Pero s\u00f3lo viol\u00edn. Nunca me ha gustado practicar con el piano a pesar de haber recibido clases durante a\u00f1os).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es lo que m\u00e1s le gusta de actuar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me encanta la espontaneidad y tener que estar siempre alerta en el escenario. Realmente te exige conocer la partitura, saber qu\u00e9 van a tocar los dem\u00e1s instrumentos para poder reaccionar en un momento a una nueva idea. Y a veces el p\u00fablico nos pilla desprevenidos; en una actuaci\u00f3n reciente de \u201cLa hora del cuento\u201d, est\u00e1bamos a punto de respirar y preparar nuestra entrada cuando un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o grit\u00f3 \u201c3, 2, 1...\u00a1YA!\u201d. De alguna manera, nos las arreglamos para empezar a jugar juntos, \u00a1aunque en realidad lo que quer\u00edamos era empezar a re\u00edrnos! Ser capaz de reaccionar mientras se act\u00faa es algo que se desarrolla con el tiempo, y ayuda cuando realmente puedes confiar en tus colegas m\u00fasicos que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n contigo en el escenario.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
