DESCRIPTION:Trio Fadolín is a new ensemble with a unique sonority — featuring Sabina Torosjan on violin\, Valeriya Sholokhova on cello\, and Ljova\, performing on the fadolín – a new instrument that encompasses the range of the violin\, viola\, and most of the cello\, finding its footing in an acoustic chamber music setting for the first time \nThis performance takes place at the Morris-Jumel Mansion. Built in 1765\, it is Manhattan’s oldest surviving residence and was once the headquarters of General George Washington. Don’t miss a stroll down picturesque and historic Jumel Terrace while you’re here! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese concerts are free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:American quintet Calliope Brass collaborates with the world’s most prominent creatives to build evocative\, story-driven concert experiences for a variety of audiences. Inspired by the eponymous storytelling muse in Greek mythology\, Calliope Brass (pronounced “Kuh-LIE-uh-pea”) is most known for its innovative approach to creating interactive concert experiences. \nThis performance takes place at Bennett Park\, near the flagpole. The park contains the highest natural elevation in Manhattan\, at 265.05 feet above sea level. Bathrooms can be found in the playground area nearby. After the concert be sure to visit one of our many nearby WHCO sponsors including Tinto Tapas Restaurant\, the Fountain Bookshop\, Dutch Baby Bakery\, Tampopo Kitchen\, and Refried Beans! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThese concerts are free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:  \n \nBring your picnic blanket to relax with the Riverside Brass Quintet in Inwood Hill Park and enjoy a program that is “quintessentially NYC” with music by George Gershwin\, Lin Manuel Miranda\, John Batiste\, Will Aaronson and more. \nWhat started as a group of friends reading music and sharing bagels in an apartment on Riverside Drive\, Riverside Brass Quintet (RBQ) redefines contemporary chamber music through novel performances\, community-driven projects\, and purposeful collaboration. RBQ is committed to uplifting local artists and ensembles; their Brass on Broadway series enabled Upper Manhattan residents to attend and explore popular Broadway music in three varied venues across Central Harlem\, Washington Heights and Inwood. \nThis performance takes place in Inwood Hill Park\, on Pat’s Lawn. Bathrooms can be found inside the nearby Nature Center or the restaurant Inwood Farm with purchase of food or beverage.
